The aim of this feasibility study is to assess the technical roadmap needed to extend AGERPIX service to new fruits and varieties, while optimizing the service. On the market side, the aim is to assess the targeted users and markets, planning the commercialization of the service in Europe and LATAM at the same time, to profit from both markets during the same year. On the financial side, the aim is to evaluate the funding needs for the designed upscaling activities while measuring benefits for our end users and revenues for the company.
The Feasibility Study conducted ensured the technical, commercial and financial feasibility of the AGERPIX service. AGERPIX has strengthened the definition of its value proposition, renaming its services and adding new ones, performing a benchmarking analysis, analyzing the fruit production value chain and measuring the benefits of our services for different stakeholders, to later assess the financial needs to enter different fruit and geographical markets, with a commercialization roadmap and a strengthened business model.
AGERPIX is an unprecedented all in one solution to count fruit while on the tree, assess the plant vigour and frondosity, and provide information with real time growth measurements in a easy to use data intelligence platform. It enables reducing the orchard management costs a 50%, optimizing staff costs, cold storage, logistics and product placement on the market, it increases the yield of the land by providing with 95% accurate information to make decisions on thinnings and treatments, as a result, more quality fruits are obtained from the same trees with an improved use of resources.
Tested already on TRL7 for apples, and with TRL6 early trials of six other fruits, AGERPIX is positioned to take over a market worth 1,843 M€
