A conference on emerging technologies in non-destructive testing will take place from 26 to 28 May in Thessaloniki, Greece.

Non-destructive testing is a branch of engineering concerned with all methods of detecting and evaluating flaws in materials. It is of multi sectoral interest, concerning, in particular, materials; environment; agrofood; aerospace; automotive; marine; medical Industries; micro and nanotechnologies and information society.

The event will bring together scientists, developers, engineers and end users to review recent developments and identify outstanding needs and opportunities for further advances in this field. A brokerage event is also being organised to run in parallel with the conference.

Furthermore, a select number of companies and research organisations will have the opportunity to present their innovations at an exhibition during the conference.

The conference is being organised by the free university of Brussels, the university of Patras, the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the national technical university of Athens, the Hellenic naval academy and the Greek innovation relay centre IRC HELP-FORWARD.For further information, please visit:
