Elaboration of a handbook outlining the best practices evolved from RES4LIVE project, aiming to act as a complementary to D6.5: Inventory of RES4LIVE best practices, and disseminate the knowledge gained during the project to the general public.

Integration schemes of RES4LIVE adapted technologies with commercial solutions

Elaboration and assessment of existing techniques and technologies in livestock buildings. Adaptation of the use of the most promising/suitable energy efficiency technologies.

Technical assessment and validation of the numerical platform

Technical assessment and validation of the numerical platform, based on the results obtained from the RES based technologies in the pilot farms.

Report on scientific conferences, publications and final conference

Report on scientific conferences, publications and final conference implelented by the consortium members.

Case studies report

Examination of different combinations of solutions and evaluation of the primary energy reduction, based on the predictions of the validated numerical tools for 15 existing farms at different locations.

Second set of practice abstracts

"The resulting innovative knowledge and easy accessible end-user material from this project will feed into the EIP-AGRI (The agricultural European Innovation Partnership) website for broad dissemination. The end-user material to be produced contains a substantial number of summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (""practice abstracts""), including the characteristics of the project (e.g. contact details of partners, etc). A full package of practice abstracts will be produced by the project, containing all the outcomes/recommendations which are ready for practice.A practice abstract is a short summary of around 1000-1500 characters (word count no spaces; see below) which describes the main information/recommendation/practice that can serve the end-users in their daily practice. Guidance and templates for these practice abstracts are available on the EIP-AGRI web site: http://ec.europa.eu/eip/agriculture/en/content/eip-agri-common-format .A total target number of 30 practice abstracts is foreseen for the project. 20 will be delivered in this second batch"

Report on the developed and adapted solutions that are needed by a wide range of farmers and exactly address their needs, without interfering with their everyday practices based on user friendliness, as well as maintenance needs playing a vital role in their investment decision.

Social assessment report

Social assessment based on the UNEP/SETAC Guidelines, 2009 and the Social Hotspots Database which cover five Endpoint impact categories, called Social Category: Community infrastructure, Governance, Health and Safety, Human Rights and Labor Rights.

Incorporating concrete policy recommendations towards facilitating the adoption RES based technologies in livestock farms.

Environmental assessment report

Implementation of environmental assessment through a life-cycle (LC) model with site-specific data collected from the conventional and optimized livestock farms.
