Populations of validated and robust passive HBMs

Skin fat and muscles tissue data will be used to develop new models applicable for improved HBMs Image data of volunteers will be used and new generated to determine body fat distribution and pelvis orientation for seated occupants Data suitable for validation of HBMs will be collected Methods to morph HBMs to different sizes will be developed and evaluated Finally the new models methods and collected data will be used to update and validate populations of injury predicting HBMs

Standardised validation procedure for qualifying the HBM to be used for assessing effectiveness of pilot protection principles
