Rezultaty

Data Management Plan

D11 Data Management Plan DMPThe DMP will succinctly describe the data management life cycle for data as collected in the field processed and generated by the various work packages The DMP will document the handling of research data during and after the end of the project the type of data collated the methodologies and standards used or developed by the project the deliverables and how the data will be curated and preserved Importantly the DMPs will clearly indicate how the different project deliverables may be shared amongst partners and ultimately to the wider international community

A set of use cases plus supporting soil quality indicators

D21 A set of use cases plus supporting soil quality indicatorsThis document will describe examples of the potential use use cases of the SIS in the field of sustainable intensification The use cases are developed with potential users and will lead to soil quality indicators that are needed in the context of the use case An example of a use case is a development organisation that wants to use soil information to identify hotspots for erosion in a country In that case the soil quality indicator is soil erodibility

Overview of existing datasets and the sampling protocol

D32 A report providing an overview of existing datasets and the sampling protocolThis report describes which relevant existing datasets are available providing data on the soils in the agricultural areas in Africa Each data set will be briefly described metadata will be given as well as its potential for use in this project

PEDR

D12 Plan for the Exploitation and Dissemination of Results PEDRThe PEDR is a document describing the strategy for sharing the project results with potential users dissemination and the use of project results exploitation The document provides concrete exploitation and dissemination activities for each work package

Report documenting the training of all field teams in the use of the protocols, SOPs and supporting tools

D43 Report documenting the training of all field teams in the use of the protocols and the toolset This report includes all training materials developed in this project as well as an account of which teams and individuals have been trained

Detailed guidance for the fieldwork

D33 Detailed guidance document for the fieldworkThis document describes in detail how the fieldwork in this project will be carried out It provides requirements for all stages of the fieldwork such as soil sampling field observations georeferencing labelling transport storage and preparation of the samples This includes the additional observations at the reference sites and the approach for pollution assessment

Report on the laboratory upgrade including Health and Safety Plan (ISO 45001)

D51 Report on the laboratory upgradeThis report describes the equipment purchased documents the various training given to the laboratory staff includes the SOPs developed and provides a health and safety plan for the lab activities according to ISO 45001

Map of agricultural land in Africa

D41 A map with agricultural lands in Africa and the land use at the selected sampling locationsThis deliverable is a map delineating the agricultural land in Africa The map also provides information on the historic and current land use at the selected sampling locations

Report describing methods for deriving selected soil quality indicators

D31 A Report describing methods for deriving selected soil quality indicators This report describes the methods that will be used to derivequantify the indicators selected in WP 1 It will also describe the data needed to feed these methods

Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and tools to guide and support the field survey, and the collection, handling and preparation of the samples

D42 Protocols and toolset to guide and support the field survey This deliverable provides protocols for all stages of the fieldwork such as soil sampling field observations georeferencing labelling transport storage and preparation of the samples This includes the additional observations at the reference sites and the approach for pollution assessment The toolset will be an mobile device app for i recording field observations and photos ii georeferencing all observations iii making quality and consistency checks of the observations and iv automated uploading of all data to a central database when internet connection is available

User requirements for the IT infrastructure

D35 A document describing the user requirements for the IT infrastructure This document describes the requirements for the backend of the system the physical ITinfrastructure that is underlying the SIS and provides the services to the user as well as the requirements for the frontend of the system the presentation layer a web portal where users interact with the data

Technical design of the SIS

D61Document with the technical design of the SISContains a description of the technical solutions that will be deployed for building the SIS It identifies and specifies hardware requirements software resources the APIs required to ingest store and manage the data from the laboratory information management system WP 5 and KoboToolbox database WP 4 It will also describe the platforms and web services required to serve these data to the users via a web portal

Functional website available during the entire project period

D13 Functional website available during the entire project cycle The website will describe the project setup activities and deliverables will provide news items and announce events and will be a repository of all the relevant documents guidelines and manuals produced by the project
