The European Commission's translation service is calling for tenders for the provision of new terminology to supply its terminology data bank 'Eurodicautom'. The selected service providers will supply a certain number of new terms in English with various definitions for equivalent terms in another official language of the EU for each of the following lots:

- Lot 1: telecommunications (in particular the Internet);
- Lot 2: audiovisual and multimedia;
- Lot 3: biotechnology;
- Lot 4: transport;
- Lot 5: computer aided design and manufacture (CFAO, CAD/CAM);
- Lot 6: banking activities;
- Lot 7: defence;
- Lot 8: medicine;
- Lot 9: field to be specified by the tenderer.


The number of terms will be determined in the tender documents.
